Featured Pattern: Mix & Match Critters

September's Featured Pattern:

The Mix & Match Critters

For the month of September 2017 this pattern will be available for 50% off!
on CraftsyRavelry Etsy
That's just $2!! No code needed!

The Critters feature no-sew, attach-as-you-go limbs! The arms & legs are made first so they can be added to the body as you go. This technique is easy to learn & so much faster than sewing them on!

Check out my "Attach As You Go" post for a video tutorial & written instructions!

Measuring about 4 inches from head to toe these cuties are perfect for sticking in a backpack or pocket! They use very little yarn & can be made in just a couple hours. Pattern includes step-by-step instructions for making & assembling all 6 Critters including: dog, cat, mouse, fox, koala & monkey.

Materials needed:

  • worsted weight yarn (see below)
  • 3.5 mm hook
  • finishing needle
  • safety eyes & noses (see below)
  • stuffing

Techniques used:

Yarn :

For my Critters I used Loops & Threads Color Wheel in the following colors:
  • Grey Heather (koala)

  • Orange (fox) Gold (dog)
  • Dark Taupe (monkey, accents on cat)
